Having relocated numerous times in my own lifetime I know the woes of having to start fresh in a new community and feeling like a bit of an outsider. Discovering basic amenities can be a daunting experience especially when you want to focus on unpacking. The last thing you want to do is drive up and down Main Street, or sit in front of a map to see what's nearby.

The choices you will make usually depend on high rated reviews from online strangers, but you appreciate personalized referrals more. For my experiences being quite tall, I had to deal with shopping limitations from clothing, cars and beds.

When I became a landlord later in life, I saw my tenants facing their own issues, whether they were newcomers to Canada not knowing anyone to ask for a referral. Someone with limited mobility issues, or health issues due to nutritional allergies. In each case, I wanted to do what I could to help accommodate them and make their onboarding process seamless.

Dwellcome was inspired by my needs and my tenants, and
realizing that every family/individual is unique, are at different stages in life, and have their own lifestyle needs.
